Your role
In the team, Performance and Calibration, we work with calibration of the engine parameters and specification of software adaptations for our engines. The target is optimal performance, fuel consumption, emission fulfilment for base engine and aftertreatment. The different systems and requirements are balanced to meet our high standards for a wide spectrum of customer applications as well as our own targets such as reduction of our climate impact.

As an engine calibration engineer you will work in a dedicated team with both engineers, sales and aftermarket support in close contact with the end customer.

The calibration is mainly carried out in our own engine test beds and special rigs but sometimes finetuning in vehicles and/or adaptation work is needed on the end-product itself in real customer applications.

Your profile
In order to be successful as an engine calibrator you should have good knowledge of combustion/gas exchange systems, be motivated and willing to take initiative. You have good communication skills and are enthusiastic about breaking new ground in complex systems.

You are willing to learn and proactively seeking the information that you need to perform the work. Our customers expectation are high, requiring a combination of structure and flexibility in your work. 

You are fluent in English and probably also in Swedish. You have a master degree in engineering or comparable education with 3-5 years of experience of diesel engine calibration. Good knowledge of  INCA, Creta, ATI vision and C-programming experience is advantageous.
