Engineer - Analysis

Job Summary

Then you can be the one we are looking for. The department of Aerodynamics has an open position for an Aerodynamics Engineer. We need to reinforce the department and are looking for a person with an interest in the aerospace business, especially jet engines and gas turbine technology. We believe you are a curious team player with experience from CFD and method development within aerodynamics.


Job Responsibilities
You will be a part of our analysis team working with several different assignments. The work will include for example
Modelling and analysis of complex geometries for CFD / Combustion / acoustic analyses.
Modelling and analysis of internal secondary flow systems, such as cavities, bleed air systems
General CFD analyses of engine and component performance.
Method and technology development related to technical investigations and experiences from engine usage and engine testing.



Job Qualifications
You have a MSc in an area relevant for the position or several years of experience from method development and CFD relevant for the position.
Experienced in programming and scripting (Python, Matlab)
You have good abilities to cooperate with colleagues both within the team and across other functions.
You have a genuine interest in jet engines and aerodynamics.
You have good social skills, the ability to create effective networks and can take on a technical responsibility role
You are proficient in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is an advantage
