Engineer Development Programme

Do you want to contribute in technical projects and assignments and develop throughout an 18-month program and join us on our journey towards growth in new business opportunities? We now have 4 openings at Nouryon AB, in Stockvik or Stenungsund.


Main responsibilities
As an EDP Engineer at Nouryon and during the 18-month Engineering Development Program (EDP) you will go through 3 assignment rotations (project length will vary from 4-6 months). During each rotation you will:
Be responsible for a practical technical project or assignment within ISC with guidance from a project coach as well as the responsible manager. One rotation will typically be an assignment as Production Engineer.
One project/assignment can be at a remote site (no relocation will be necessary but travel to the site might be needed)
Present outcome and learnings after each conducted assignment/project to senior management
Participate in functional development activities
Participate in personal development activities



Qualifications
Educational background
Master’s degree in Engineering with interest in personal developing
The Master’s degree must be completed before the program starts, September 1st 2020.
Degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or mechanical engineering.
Excellent communicative skills in English, basic professional Swedish both written and verbal. Other languages are a merit.

Additional information
The EDP Engineers will have an unlimited employment from the first day of the program. After the completion of the program the EDP Engineers will succeed into new and possibly more senior engineering roles within Nouryon, relocation might be necessary. Depending on the location the EDP Engineer will report to either the site CIM (Stockvik) or PQC manager (Stenungsund) throughout the program.
The position can be based at the Stockvik or Stenungsund site. Location on other sites (eg Kvarntorp) is also possible.
