What you’ll do

As an Engineer at Mobile Packet Core, you will be part of a highly skilled team with wide and deep knowledge of all areas within the delivery of Mobile Data Services. You will work with development and maintenance of our existing Mobile Packet Core for 2G/3G/4G. You will be a part of designing and building a brand new 5G Core that is a key to unleash the true power of 5G Services.

The team works with everything from strategy, analysis, design, procurement, proof-of-concept setups, troubleshooting and operational tasks. You will be part of an experienced and driven team with expert knowledge within this area. We are organized in agile teams mainly in Stockholm and Karlskrona.

You will be handling incidents and scheduled maintenance tasks in the Packet Core Domain. You will perform analysis of call scenarios for troubleshooting and you will contribute to strategies and roadmaps and proactively strive towards optimizing the user experience.

Your responsibilities:
* Operation maintenance, corrective with 3rd line support.
* Build automation to achieve proactivity.
* Development and testing of Packet Core / 5G Core and Services together with your team.
* Be part of on-call schedule during non-office hours.
* Contribute to keeping documentation in shape.
* Keep track of technical developments and trends.
* Be a central part in projects as a technical expert for your areas.
* Create and maintain technical design rules.

Who are You

As a person you are used to act on your own initiative, make things happen and take responsibility for your actions. You have a keen interest in technology. You are a team player who works effectively with others, who shares knowledge and information and supports others in the pursuit of common goals. You have an ability to quickly analyze complex questions and problems.

Furthermore, you can present new and inventive ideas and solutions, and challenge traditional approaches. Finally, you are a good communicator both verbally and in writing, both Swedish and English.

You are:
* Good technical knowledge in Mobile Packet Core and Mobile Data Services.
* Technical knowledge in NFV framework.
* Good understanding of IP Networking.
* Used to work with Linux, scripting.
* Used to work end to end with customer in focus.
* Previous experience in automation of testing and maintenance.
