Engineer to Human Factors

The department User Experience at Semcon consists of 40 persons, eager to work with technology and develop new exciting solutions for our customers, with a great focus on the user and its needs. The department works broadly in product development, product design, design strategies, geometry assurance and human factors including interaction design and UX. The extent of in-house projects carried out in our house is increasing and assignments cover both automotive and non-automotive. We also take part in human factors research projects, both in Sweden and abroad.

The Human Factors group, which today includes 18 persons, is looking for new talents within ergonomics, preferable with at least 2 years’ experience. We look for persons with education and work experience from physical ergonomics, anthropometry, user tests, human simulation etc.

We think you have a university level degree alternatively long relevant work experience. You have most probably an engineering background. You master English both orally and written.

Experience from using the human simulation software like V5 Human, Ramsis or similar is preferred for the position. Experience from product development, automotive, and the role of being a consultant are meriting.

Both young professionals and more experienced are welcome to apply. The primary location for the employment is Göteborg. As a consultant, the work is most often carried out at our customers’ location, but also in-house in any of our offices. As our customers and projects are found both in Sweden and abroad, we find it natural that you sometimes have the ability to travel within the assignments, but also if needed work longer periods in another location. If you are willing to work abroad for some months up to a year it is seen as a plus.
