Above products are used: .by R&D as tool to evaluate the performance and behaviour of the HW design during the development phase .by Industrialization to detect eventual product deviations from quality and performance requirements during the manufacturing phase .by Customer Services to test and calibrate returned phones at the repair centres during the warranty time Description of duties: As a SW Engineer, you will actively participate in the development of the specific Embedded Test SW for several mobile phones..You will design, develop, debug and correct required test software functions in accordance with set requirements .You will perform necessary functional test and verification of above software towards the actual hardware .You will in some cases also participate in phone prototype runs at our industrialization sites.Some traveling is required to China, Malaysia and other sites Configuration management and usage of flashing tools and security components (e.g.loaders, certificates etc.) is usual practice. As the work is mostly organized in project form, you will report directly to the Test & Verification Project leader. Qualifications: We assume that you have a technical degree from a University or an equivalent education.A solid programming experience (in C) in embedded systems is preferred while a good overall knowledge in hardware design and components is very much desired.Further knowledge in manufacturing environment and processes will be considered as a plus.As well as international experience and language skills.
