Winningtemp offers the market an unique and revolutionary technology for creating successful work places. This is done by collecting and visualizing real-time data that describes the employee's experience of leadership, meaningfulness, control and joy at work.
Today, Winningtemp consists of a wonderful and ambitious group of 120+ people in the offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen and London. The head office, which opened in February 2022, is newly renovated with a wonderful atmosphere in the middle of central Gothenburg (with a large roof terrace that will be frequently used during our summer afterworks).

So what is the role about? 🌟
In this position, you play a significant role in Winningtemp´s progress. You will be a key person with personnel responsibility for our engineering teams where you are expected to contribute with a modern and innovative leadership, you encourage collaboration and give employees the conditions to develop and grow. You work closely with our Product Managers in order to plan and recruit for future needs for skills and teams.
As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:
- Promoting a modern leadership that favours self-leadership and self-governing teams
- Conducting follow-up sessions and drive personal development plans with our engineers
- Planning staffing needs and carry out recruitment with support from HR
- Supporting and driving an agile process for our engineering teams
- Together with colleagues, develop agile methods, development processes and ensure that security compliances are met
- Personnel responsibilities for the engineers in our engineering teams (including the Data Science team) including salary reviews
Your team and manager 👨👩👧👦
In this role you’ll be joining our Engineering team, reporting to Mathias, our CTO and one of Winningtemp's founders. The team includes developers, QA Engineer and Data scientists, a total of 20 dedicated people. Big part of the team is working in Gothenburg and a couple is only English speaking. The whole team is team oriented with the passion to make our product the very best for our customers.

You have excellent communication skills, written and verbally, whoever you communicate with. It is natural to you to coach and engage engineers in their daily work, and you are passionate in understanding and developing the people you are responsible for. You are structured in your daily work and you have a natural curiousity in every person you meet.
You have at least 3 years experience in Engineering Manager or equivalent.
You are unhindered in both English and Swedish, written and verbal.
