Engineering Manager

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an Engineering Manager for a company in southern Småland. The company has a turnover of just over 160 million in 2022.

About the position
In the role as an Engineering Manager, you lead a technical team of approx. 20 people within:
Mechanics construction
Electricity/Electronics
Automation/Programming

Most of the machines that are developed and manufactured are part of the company's standard program, but customer-unique solutions are also available. The team is involved in the entire process from product development to the last customer-unique adaptations. The service includes collaboration with other units in other countries with equivalent or complementary products. It is also important to ensure that your team stays abreast of the latest technological developments in the industry to ensure that the company sees available opportunities for technological improvements to the products.
Your Background
You are a social, technology and product interested person with a lot of drive who thrives in a leadership role and who likes to be at the forefront. We believe that you have an academic education in technology, preferably technology development. If you have also worked in a project-led organization, preferably in an international environment, it is very valuable.
You have good social skills and handle customers as well as suppliers and staff in a trust-inspiring way. As a person, you are driven and strongly goal focused. You can communicate visions, create trust through your knowledge and experiences. The assignment requires the development of working methods and your ability to take advantage of new ideas.
As the company is part of an international group, you are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
