Engineering Manager to Autocom in Trollhättan

About the Role
Autocom is expanding, and we are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Engineering Manager - someone who is genuinely interested in leading and inspiring developers and teams! Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with each individual to ensure their continuous development and well-being. We are looking for someone who can systematically evaluate performance and create tailored training and development plans so that each employee can grow in their role as a developer.In this role, both software and hardware developers will report directly to you, while you will report to the department manager. The developers are organized into agile teams, where you support them by ensuring they have the right resources and the best possible conditions for success. You will also work to foster a learning mindset and create an open atmosphere with room for both successes and failures.
As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
Providing guidance and support to each employee, focusing on psychological safety.
Ensuring that all employees continuously develop and grow as developers.
Promoting a learning culture within the organization.
Building strong and healthy teams with an open atmosphere.
Working with health factors to support well-being and performance.
Systematically evaluating performance and driving continuous improvements

You will also assist and support the development teams by:
Practicing a supportive leadership mindset.
Ensuring the right people are in the teams.
Continuously improving the processes within the development organization.
Supporting the agile teams and Scrum Masters with problem identification and root cause analysis.
Working with team dynamics and motivation.
Removing impediments to team success.
Improving our workplace environment.

All of this is done in close collaboration with other Engineering Managers, the Department Manager and other valuable functions. Your ability to work data-driven and your experience in managing a flexible organization are highly valued.

Requirements
Strong interest and focus on people.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to coach and inspire individual developers and teams.
Deep knowledge of agile development processes.
Fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
