Skills and Experience
Engineering background, with experience in engine engineering preferred
Strong people management skills
Proven leadership abilities
Experience in the automotive industry, including vehicle planning and workshop operations
Genuine passion for vehicles and drivetrains
In this role, strong leadership in people management is essential to building a high-performing team and ensuring the successful delivery of company programs and section project commitments. Balancing resources, project demands, and costs is a critical part of this position, along with maintaining close collaboration with the management team and the section manager.
Your role at Aurobay
The current team is part of a larger group, which will soon be divided into two independent teams, to better handle the growing scope of work.
Today, the team’s main responsibilities include developing and delivering in-house software and calibration/tuning solutions for our global powertrain portfolio. Their focus areas covers complete vehicle thermal management, fuel systems, engine oil systems, vehicle drivability, hybrid powertrain energy management, and more. The team works across multiple projects in parallel, aiming to deliver top-notch robustness and performance for our customers.
As a Engineering Manager you will:
Manage and coach one of our powertrain controls team.
Plan Secure our orderbook, spend rate and overall planning for the team resources.
Support section manager with strategic decisions
participate on supplier and customer meetings
