In this position, you will head up engineering team within the hoisting product line in the Center of Excellence in Sweden, ensuring delivery of a portfolio of projects, as well as guiding and coaching the engineering team, and developing their skills and knowledge.
Reporting to the Local Product Line Manger, you will drive team performance to ensure that all requirements are met and customer expectations are exceeded, with a focus on safety, on-time delivery, quality and improved margins.


Your responsibilities
Building and maintaining customer relationships, seeking feedback and providing innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and deliver improvements.
Driving new business, targeting new opportunities and capitalizing on attendance at conferences and client events by presenting new technology and innovations.
Creating and implementing plans to identify and minimize business risks, and to maximize opportunities.
Working with procurement and logistics to ensure that suitable suppliers, services and equipment are available to assist the engineering team.
Developing, implementing and improving processes, policies and procedures to increase effectiveness across the Engineering function.
Overseeing the completion of risk and opportunity assessments, and overseeing the implementation of resulting actions.
Creating financial plans and budget estimates for electrical engineering on hoisting projects and overseeing execution of plans to ensure that targets are met.



Your background
5 years of experience in automation and electrical engineering, working as lead engineer with complex automation and electrical projects with some knowledge of complex machines like hoists.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including E3, ebase, PDC systems and SAP.
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines.
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
Fluency in English is required, Swedish is an advantage.
