​Who is your future team? ​
We, the AXIS OS System team is a crucial part of Axis Software organization and are responsible for developing a central part of AXIS OS - The Event and Linux Framework as well as the integration and interaction with the Service Platform. This includes actions, events, parameters, IPC and Linux System functionalities in AXIS OS. The team has 15 members grouped into smaller teams depending on ongoing sprints. We all are dedicated to working hard keeping this excellence, we love what we do, and we love doing it together.

Axis OS Architecture
AXIS OS is a Linux based multimedia platform that is used on almost all Axis devices. As a manager you will manage a few technical experts that together with a virtual team of architects are responsible for the AXIS OS architecture. You will be working closely with experts all over Axis R&D as well as handling stakeholders in the AXIS OS R&D Steering group with the goal to deliver a world class Linux based multimedia platform suitable for Axis product portfolio.

What will you do?​
As an Engineering Manager in this team you have an important role in all the parts of operating and developing the system domain. This includes both strategic and operational parts with emphasis on leading your team towards your common goal.

The main tasks includes;

* Drive the vision and strategy of AXIS OS Architecture
* Develop, lead and support your team members
* Develop strategies and visions for the system domain
* Collaborate with other teams within R&D to drive technology development
* Identify new opportunities based on our customers' feedback and market research.
* Work and contribute to open source communities

Who are we looking for/Who are you? ​

Except from above we think you have;

* Relevant technical education
* Solid background in Software developing
* Worked as a software architect
* A couple of years documented experience from working as a manager
* Experience in, and a big fan of working with agile teams
* English fluent speaking and writing
