Engineering Manager

The Role

We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong engagement in leading and developing teams and team members. You will play an important role in defining our company culture and fostering a learning mindset and successfully growing the teams.

We believe that you are a servant leader with strong ability in empowering individuals and teams and want to be part of a company in a “starting up phase” where everything is not yet set and defined.

You will join skilled engineering teams that play an integral part of growing the ECARX ecosystem, creating great experiences for car users all over the world through smarter in-car digital systems.

What you will be doing

- Work proactively with competence development & growth ensuring that the right skills is within the teams
- Recruiting and onboarding new team members in close collaboration with the recruitment team
- Foster an open and collaborative culture between the teams
- Enable the teams goal achievement by removing blockers and impediments and be a point of contact in escalation
- Working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and other Stakeholders to create a high performing organization




Who we think you are

- Experience of coaching and developing high performing teams
- Experience of building and leading software development teams
- Experience of leading in complex environments
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Ability to coach and mentor team members to inspire and motivate on all levels
- Ability to encourage collaboration, innovation and new ways of working
- Previous experience from organizations with product focus
- Experience in software development
