YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You have a master's in computer science or similar, as well as some experience from management positions involving close teamwork.You're also familiar with software development, as this position focuses on application platforms.You're an enthusiastic person, and you can also generate enthusiasm in those you work with - at every level.You-re also an open-minded, cooperative person who is comfortable leading people and taking responsibility. THE SYSTEM APPLICATIONS UNIT Within Axis, our unit is responsible for creating Windows applications that build system solutions based on Axis network cameras, video servers and print servers.Our goals are to strengthen the Axis application products offering and also to provide development tools to our development partners.JOB DESCRIPTION The team defines and maintains architectures used to build scalable client server solutions for video management software.This includes designing communication mechanisms, database usage, video streaming technology and security.The purpose is also to develop clients for streaming video and audio from Axis network video products and to maintain and develop an efficient development environment used in all System Applications development.As the manager of this team, your main responsibilities will involve: ¤Resource allocation ¤Recruitment ¤Budgeting ¤Goal-setting ¤Performance reviews ¤Coaching of personnel ¤Running the day-to-day operations ¤Seeing that tasks, goals and vision are fulfilled.
