Engineering Manager Axis OS Security

Who is your future team?
You will be responsible for the AXIS OS Security team and the Software Security Group. Your team is responsible for developing security and network parts of AXIS OS. The team has around 15 members working in small agile teams. We aim to make our customers experience a little better every day.

What is AXIS OS?
AXIS OS is a Linux based multimedia platform that is used on almost all Axis devices.

What is the Software Security Group (SSG)?
SSG is a small team of cybersecurity experts responsible for Axis Security Development Model (ASDM). We don't expect you to be an expert in Cybersecurity, but we believe you are aware of how important it is and that you are eager to learn about it and passionate to help Axis to take the next steps on our Cybersecurity journey. You will lead the SSG and help them to spread the word across Axis and beyond.

What will you do?​
As an Engineering Manager you will be leading the team in both strategic and operational parts. You will be part of a management team within the AXIS OS organization and develop the vision and strategies for the network & security domain.

The main tasks includes to;

* Drive the vision, strategy and implementation of ASDM
* Develop, lead and support your team members
* Develop strategies and visions for the network & security domain
* Collaborate with other teams within R&D to drive technology development
* Identify new opportunities based on our customers' feedback and market research
* Contribute to open source communities

Who are you?​
You have a truly agile mindset and like to develop both technology and people. You are communicative and social: teamwork and collaboration are essential to your success at Axis. You understand the big picture and how to translate it into daily work and small frequent deliveries.

It is also nice if you have;

* A Technical background and interest
* Experience as a manager
* Experience in, and are a big fan of working with agile teams
