Who is your future team?

You will be responsible for three product teams that develops and maintains the core services in Axis SW offering. The total team size is around 15 persons with a highly skilled and diverse group of engineers.

The main responsibilities for the service platform teams are:

* The user management of all our SW solutions
* Communication from central backend to all our edge devices
* Discovery and Secure onboarding of all devices to Axis solutions.

We have a constant will to develop and to create tomorrow's solutions and we aspire to do that in close dialogue with our customers.

What will you do and who are you?

As mentioned above, you as an Engineering Manager for Service platform will be responsible for developing the service platform. You and your team will have responsibility for its complete life cycle and that means a great deal of freedom and responsibility in how you develop and lead your team.

To be successful in this role you are a leader with a keen interest in SW development and development methodology. We expect you to:

* influence not only your team but also the department and Axis SW in how we develop our SW.
* be used to work with frequent and small releases with short feedback loops.
* have previous experience from leading a team and have a good understanding for servant leadership and knows how to make the best environment possible for your team members.
* enjoy talking and interact with different stakeholders like product managers, partners, and customers.

Who am I, your future manager?
As a manager and leader my most important task is to make sure that my and your team members can do their best at work. We do this by making sure that the correct prerequisites and support structures are in place. Furthermore, we make sure that they have a clear goal and understanding why that goal is important. Lastly, we challenge ourselves and our team members by setting high standards and expecting them to raise to the challenge and succeed.
