Engineering Manager - Body Worn

Axis Body Worn Solution products are gaining momentum and market shares in a highly competitive landscape. As our Body Worn team is growing, we are now looking to expand our management team with a new SW Engineering Manager located in Lund, Sweden.

Who is your future team?
The teams at Body Worn Solution are on a mission to deliver the best Body Worn Solution in the world! The Solution entails developing end to end sw ranging from Body Worn Cameras to cloud services and mobile apps.

As an engineering manager of the Body Worn Embedded, one of two teams within Body Worn Solutions, you will be directly responsible for working with the Safe City & Analytics Solution management team as well as with your team of direct reports. Your team of direct reports consists of highly skilled SW developers, architects and experts organized in efficient DevOps teams.

What you'll do here as Engineering Manager for the Body Worn Embedded team?
As an engineering manager for the Body Worn Embedded team you will contribute to Axis Body Worn journey ahead by taking an active role in leading the development of its embedded products as well as take part in building a full end to end solution. You will also build and develop your team of direct reports and cooperate, coordinate, and work strategically in a cross organizational team consisting of SW Body Worn Managers and product management.

In addition to above you will also;

* Lead the team and individuals in their daily activities, make sure we get most out of everyone and that they get the needed support.
* Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every individual.
* Perform standard management tasks like development talks, salary setting, budgeting, recruitment etc.

We'd love to hear that;

* You have a Master's degree in computer science or similar
* You have a documented leadership and management skills, preferably with experience from leading embedded development
* You understand and see the value in a diverse team
* You have experience in leading teams in an Agile or DevOps setup
* You have experience from embedded product development.
* You are fluent in both Swedish and English
