Hitachi Energy is seeking an Engineering Manager Bushings, in this role you will be Part of PGTR, HUB Europe and more specific of I&C (Insulation and components). You will have exciting and varied work in front of you where you will get a broad network internally and externally.

Your responsibilities

Lead your team and encourage a culture of learning where people may develop their skills
Meet your daily, weekly, and yearly targets/ goals
Coach the team and take decisions when necessary
Support internal clients and global manufacturing units while balancing workload
Support and lead in failure investigations
Lead by example in health and safety, integrity, and compliance
Foster and maintain a positive atmosphere and work culture

Your background
Having managerial experience is advantageous but not necessary
You have good interpersonal skills
You are an engineer, but you do not need prior experience from HV bushings
Interested in people development, you also have experience in, or ability to develop, project management and technical leadership skills
It is advantageous if you have technical understanding of transformers
Knowledge of HVDC technology is a plus
Proficient and fluent in English is required since you will be part of an international setting where you will need to communicate with people from all over the world
