Engineering Manager Commerce

Planning and execution - You work closely with the product manager to support the prioritization and alignment ensuring effective work processes and high quality.
Technical - You will be driving the technology in the team forward by coaching and mentoring the team members. We also expect you to be an active participant in the technical teams, we call them guilds, where strategic technical direction is discussed and planned.
Data - Define and analyze tech metrics that inform the success of your team’s work.
Coding - We expect that there will be time to jump into the deep end of the pool with coding.

What we are fishing for:
Solid technical experience within any of our used tech stacks with a good understanding of technology and development processes.
Experience leading a team of engineers towards high performance with the ability to clearly communicate and delegate, while staying humble, and enabling the teams to win.
Very good understanding of Lean/Agile methodologies and a demonstrable ability to drive innovation and improvements through your team.
A servant leader with experience managing and influencing engineering teams to work aligned with the company and its goals.
Growing an organisation while ensuring alignment through transparent and honest conversations.
Experience of ecommerce platform, preferably Magento2; PHP, MySQL, Elasticsearch and Redis or as is frontend web technologies: HTML, CSS, ReactJS, Typescript. Our platform is hosted on AWS.
Experiences within fishing and the fishing industry is a plus.

This role is located in Stockholm.
