We are looking for an experienced manager to lead our graphics team to their next level.
Who is your future team?
The Core Technologies Graphics team was formed seven years ago with the mission to enrich our products with graphics related features running on dedicated HW in our cameras. The team has successfully added a multitude of functionality, features and applications such as panoramic view (https://www.axis.com/products/axis-p3807-pve) and live privacy (https://www.axis.com/products/axis-live-privacy-shield). Work is carried out in tight collaboration with Axis' product organizations, Axis' sales organization as well as directly towards our customers. Innovation and a creative work environment is key, as well as keeping the tight and positive team spirit that this team is well-known for.
As manager for Core Technologies Graphics you will lead a team of almost 20 highly skilled engineers and project managers. You have very experienced experts as well as new talents at your hands. The team is growing and is expected to drive an active agenda within the graphics field. You will be responsible for taking them to their next level as the current manager now takes on a different role within Axis.
What you'll do here?
As manager for Core Technologies Graphics your main tasks will be to:

Lead the team and individuals in their daily activities, make sure we get most out of everyone and that they feel support and respect in and for themselves and their tasks.

Own and drive the long- and short-term agendas for the team, from strategies to daily planning
*
Interact with Axis' customers and product organizations to make sure we understand their requests and they our deliveries, negotiate if needed, and conclude and drive the way forward towards successful products
*
Arrange ways for the team to be innovative and creative, to via that form the next steps for the years to come
*
Identify and setup projects or activities around new tasks and requests, make sure the scope and requirements are clear and that each project has sufficient staffing, planning and efficiency
*
Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every individual
*
Develop the team as a team, it's culture and ways of being
*
Perform standard management tasks like development talks, salary setting, budgeting, etc.
Some travelling might be required.
Who are you?

You fulfill the following criteria:

Several years of leadership experience, preferably as a manager in a technology centric organization
*
Strong track record of managing teams in the technical forefront, preferably in close customer interaction
*
Background as engineer around HW and/or SW
*
Up-to-date with modern development methods and an interest to continuously improve your team's ways of working
*
Up-to-date with and an interest in methods to manage innovation and creativity
*
Fluent in Swedish and English
*
Last but most important you have a proven successful track record in working with, leading and developing people. You have a genuine interest in your team and its members, and are known for that. As person you are seen as positive and emphatic, combined with the ability negotiate and decide when needed.
