ABOUT THE ROLE
IKEA is busily transforming from a “just” brick-and-mortar retailer to a digital one, both online and in our stores.
Customer Engagement is the guardians of our customers’ profile and interaction data, a job we engage with security and ethics in mind. With our customers’ consent, we enrich the individual IKEA experience through personalization. We also aim to nurture the relationship between our customers and us. This role is specifically focused on the web profiles team who creates the profile web pages with the associated APIs.
You will join eight other Engineering Managers in the CE engineering leadership group. We have teams across Amsterdam, Helsingborg, and Malmö.
ABOUT YOU
You have previous experience as Engineering Manager or similar. You are passionate about empowering teams and providing sound technical products. You want to make a difference in the world and you are relentless even in challenging times. We expect you to think about the customer experience and collaborate across the entire customer engagement area. You draw on the power of a large business and balance stakeholders, goals, and priorities to unleash entrepreneurs.
As a formal manager, you drive recruitment, develop our people and mature the organization.
