We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Engineering Manager Data Platform with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building, guiding, and further developing the data engineering team, as well as their collaboration with other domains, in order to provide the platform, tools, solutions, and data sets that will enable the company to stay ever more data-informed.
You will contribute to the autonomous team's brilliant growth and development by providing guidance and opportunities for further development through coaching and mentoring.
This would entail holding regular 1:1s, goal setting, and feedback conversations with engineers to ensure their well-being and team health, as well as to support their growth.
You can anticipate the following:
Inspire, lead, shape, and grow an engineering team that is healthy, fun, and productive.
Engineers are coached and mentored, and professional development programmes are designed and guided.
Work with the Product counterpart to define and execute product and technology strategies.
Drive collaboration and methodology innovation and continuous improvement to increase productivity and quality.
Transparency should be promoted, information flow should be improved, and your team should be aligned with the goals of the organisation.
Contribute significantly to our ability to attract and retain top engineering talent.
This is a full-time position in Stockholm that reports to the Director of Infrastructure.
Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
We believe you are/have the following qualities to succeed in this role:
Experience from a high-growth organisation, as well as the challenges of a rapidly scaling business
A strong interest in people and technical leadership, as demonstrated by a progression of responsibility throughout your career.
An interest in leading and developing data-centric engineering teams and cultures.
Capable of facilitating technical discussions within and outside of the team, as well as comprehending the technical challenges of building data platforms.
A strong desire to develop strategies that enable teams to succeed.
