Who is your future team?
We are a diverse, innovative, dedicated, and energetic team who loves solving problems and come up with solutions together. Our team is called Enterprise and Partner Solutions team and our mission is to make the offering the best and most competitive in the industry. We want our partners to love and enjoy working with Axis products and APIs. We are responsible for a few products and offerings;

* Axis Camera Application Platform SDK is an SDK that enables our partners to build and run their own applications on our devices.
* API management. We want it to be as easy as possible to interact with Axis. So, a coherent API offering that brings together all different APIs that Axis offers into one package that is easy to consume for our partners and customers
* IOT Cloud Integration. In the future many of our partners will use our devices in a tight integration with cloud solutions based on providers such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud platform. Our task will be to develop an offering that helps our customer to do that in an easy and secure way.
* Machine learning capabilities. Axis has invested in adding significant machine learning and computer vision capability into our hardware and firmware platforms. Our mission will be to develop an offering that helps our partners to build the best and coolest AI applications in our cameras.

We work closely with our partners through the Axis Developer Community that strives to help our partners building solutions on top of our API based products. Building up the developer community around our developer toolbox and contribute to open-source communities.

We have a constant will to develop and to create tomorrow's solutions and we aspire to do that in close dialogue with our customers.

Your role
As mentioned above, you as an Engineering manager for Ecosystems will be responsible for developing the products for our developer offering inside the Axis SW offering. You and your team will have responsibility for the complete lifecycle of your products and that means a great deal of freedom and responsibility in how you develop and lead your team. You will also be part of a management team with an agile mindset and understanding of DevOps.

Your main tasks will be to:

* Lead the team and individuals in their daily activities, make sure we get most out of everyone and that they get the needed support.
* Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every individual.
* Run the day-to-day operations making sure that we have the right competence, tools as well as a relevant network within the organization.
* Perform standard management tasks like development talks, salary setting, budgeting, recruitment of engineers, etc.

In addition to above you;

* Have leadership experience
* Understand and see the value in a diverse team
* Have a keen interest in SW development.
* Have previous experience in offering API based products and Machine Learning
* Be used to work with frequent and small releases with short feedback loops.

Furthermore, to be successful in this role you enjoy speaking to partners and customers to fully understand their problems. We act in an environment that is changing fast, to be happy you are probably a person that are comfortable with not having all the answers but likes to structure information and problems.

Who am I, your future manager?
As a manager and leader my most important task is to make sure that my and your team members can do their best at work. We do this by making sure that the correct prerequisites and support structures are in place. Furthermore, we make sure that they have a clear goal and understanding why that goal is important. Lastly, we challenge ourselves and our team members by setting high standards and expecting everyone to raise to the challenge and succeed.

My door is always open, and I am open for any discussions. At the same time, I believe in independence and self-leadership for all team members. The people and their knowledge are what makes our success.
