We are recruiting an Engineering Manager for a customer. As a licensed e-money institute this customer provides financial services, and are now hiring a manager to drive quality and continuous improvement, while also managing recruiting, onboarding, and coaching.
You will:
Articulate and evolve the vision for our main product
Prioritize the project backlog
Every second week help the development team understand and break down what needs to be done in the upcoming sprint
Learn on the job
We are looking for:
Experience in applying agile ideas and methods to software development projects
Experience in architecting real-world non-trivial web applications and business systems
Pedagogical and outgoing personality
Experience in explaining and/or teaching technical skills to technical and non-technical coworkers and stakeholders
BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience in the following is meriting:
Experience from managing and mentoring a team of engineers
Passion to learn new things and develop people
Hands-on experience with Typescript
Hands-on experience from the Java ecosystem (like JEE, Spring Boot, and ORM-tools)
Experience in recruiting
Experience from fintech
