We are looking for people-centric leaders who are excited about leading and inspiring high performing teams to build value driven digital products for our customers.

WHAT WILL I BECOME A PART OF?
We are transforming a global iconic brand, which in itself is breath-taking, with direct impact on each of the millions of customers visiting us in both stores and via digital touchpoints, all over the world, every day. We have set out to change almost everything and we need to change now!
As always and especially now we are looking for people to join us who share and are passioned about our IKEA culture and values that are very much a part of our business and day to day work life. For you to thrive and grow with IKEA it’s important that you naturally lead with our values top of mind, you can read more about them on www.IKEA.com/work-with-us.
Digital Selling, which is core to our business, is where we develop and maintain the Checkout of IKEA.com. Our scope is a centrepiece for online shopping at IKEA.com and crucial as we move into an omni-channel landscape, connecting with customers, co-workers and systems in our many stores. We are opening an Engineering Manager position for the service layer that enables our Checkout experience, with focus on our cart, delivery arrangements, order capturing and location services.
We work cross-functionally and you will collaborate with others in the engineering network to achieve our common goals. Within the wider Customer Domain there are many areas, ranging from our website, apps and store experiences to customer profiles and CRM activities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
When you visit our website (IKEA.com) and read about our culture and values it strikes a core with you.
Your energy is generated by leading and developing people. Through your previous experience you know how to build and grow agile software development teams, as well as an engineering culture allowing continuous learning through mistakes and innovation. Since you lead by example, you are a passionate coder and have hands-on experience from building and improving products. Recently in your career you have shifted your focus to leading, coaching, motivating and developing teams and team members.
You are curious, and not afraid of pushing your skills and building trust by sharing knowledge and mistakes. You see an ever-changing environment as a constant flow of opportunities and learning.
You will be the line manager for a team of engineers with responsibility for the people processes such as recruitment, performance, competence, career development, health and wellbeing of your co-workers.

WHAT IS THE ICING ON THE CAKE?
