About the job
As Engineering Manager for our Production Equipment, you have full managerial responsibility for the department in Västberga where you lead and coordinate the work of managers and project managers. To set organizational priorities and allocate resources is a natural part of your job. You collaborate closely with other departments regarding product ideas, future projects and implementation of these – always looking to connect with new people in your area, finding new collaboration partners, all to achieve great results and meet a more profitable tomorrow. Naturally, you oversee the department budget, monitor cost and effectiveness in your team. Another key for success in your role is developing your teams’ capabilities, competencies, methods, tools and processes and your number one priority is making sure your personnel thrive in a welcoming and growing environment.
The location for this position is Västberga, Stockholm and some travel is part of your job.
About you
We’re looking for a leader with a genuine technical interest who’s eager to learn and understand our process equipment. You have a university degree within engineering combined with a solid technical background, an understanding in process equipment or similar is considered beneficial. You need at least five years’ experience from managing teams, preferably in some kind of technical area. Working locally in a truly global company calls for excellent English and Swedish skills, verbally and in writing.
You’re a strong, decisive yet humble leader who strongly believes in creating teams where everyone is seen and respected for who they are. Your driven personality combined with business minded and result oriented features gives you the tools needed to change and encourage – both the people and the organization. With your proactive mindset you have the ability to keep a high level and long-term perspective, lifting your eyes to spot new exciting ways to improve your department!
