Engineering Manager, Resurs Bank

Get an idea of the role:

As a manager for this team, you will continuously enhance the experience for our technical staff. Your mission is to be a part of creating the best-in-class experience for our customers, partners and consumers by make it easier for developers to bring code to production in an automated, easy and streamlined fashion. You will adapt our platforms and processes, build tools and write great documentation to be easily consumable by other developers with a self-service mindset. You are the interface between development and infrastructure.

What you will do:

- Build, lead and serve an effective team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, giving feedback and hands-on career development
- Be a part of the management group for IT- Platform management.
- Be responsible for the team’s technical roadmap and be part of the technical design and architecture of our platform.
- Embrace DevSecOps mindset and strive to follow LCM principles for our products.
- Actively participate, together with architects and other stakeholders, to build and maintain our "Golden Path"
- Represent the team and build relations with other leaders at Resurs.
- Evangelize best practices and how they solve problems we face.


On a personal level:

Who you are

- You have a strong background in using cloud technology, preferably with AWS.
- You have a good understanding of modern development practices such as:
- Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices.
- Microservice and event driven architecture.
- Container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- CI/CD pipeline building with a strong drive towards automation.
- A build it, run it, fix it mindset with built in security and financial accountability.
- Able to adopt ITIL framework and processes to support Application LCM with our customers best and business value in mind.
- You are opinionated while also understanding the value of building a strong team and being collaborative in an agile setting.


Preferred qualifications:

- Have prior experience in working in collaboration with an Enterprise Architecture function and can collaboratively work in strategic initiatives within the IT landscape.
- Can develop, present, build and verify business cases with a data driven approach.
- Has worked with compliance requirements and contributed at both strategic and operational levels.
- Can use both technical as well as business terminology and bring a message to a mixed group of stakeholders.
