Engineering Manager - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for an Engineering Manager who is experienced in organizational design initiatives, improving ways of working and facilitating teams on their journey to be autonomous.

What you'll do:
● Support your cross functional teams consisting of client, backend, cloud, streaming & video engineers as well and QA analysts through coaching and mentoring and creating opportunities for them to grow.
● Work closely with the teams having a customer-first mindset and guide them in continuous improvement and team dynamics.
● Be responsible for staffing and recruitment for your teams and the associated budget planning.
● Work across the product and engineering organisation together with other Engineering Managers to increase autonomy and improve ways of working.
● Collaborate with Product Managers to set a direction for your teams.
Who you are:
● Experience from leadership roles in an expanding tech / software development organization either as a first line manager or leader of leaders.
● Worked with people from different backgrounds and seniorities and find it inspiring to identify the best ways to help people find meaning in their work and grow in the process.
● Involved in organizational design initiatives, improving ways of working and facilitating teams on their journey to be autonomous.
● Have Experience from the media / streaming industry to be able to understand some of the challenges that the teams are facing.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
