Engineering Manager - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for an Engineering Manager who is experience working in Agile teams (Preferred working with Java), part of development and Engineering teams.

What you'll do:
● Ensure the delivery of the team. You will enable the team to reach their targets by removing impediments, clarifying goals and fostering ownership and accountability.
● Work closely with product management to ensure we're building products in the best way and to deliver on customer commitments and targets.
● Grow your direct reports professionally so they can have a larger impact and drive more complex initiatives.
● Work across the product and engineering organisation together with other Engineering Managers to increase autonomy and improve ways of working.

Who you are:
● Experience from leadership roles in an expanding tech / software development organization either as a first line manager or leader of leaders.
● Have had experience working in Agile teams (Preferred working with Java), part of development and Engineering teams.
● Involved in organizational design initiatives, improving ways of working and facilitating teams on their journey to be autonomous.
● Have Experience from the media / streaming industry to be able to understand some of the challenges that the teams are facing.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
