Strategy and Business Planning is part of Business Support Domain and our vision is to provide state of the art experience by tools, application and insights for business steering, planning and monitoring. Capabilities and products that we provide are within Retail Business Intelligence, Commercial and Media, Advanced Analytics and New Business Metrics.
We believe in agile ways of working and have a setup where people from Engineering, Data and Analytics and Product management build up great product teams.
The Opportunity

You will be leading a technology transformation from an outsourced landscape to internally built products, services and integrations into scaled platforms. You have the opportunity to be a major part of building and growing agile software development teams and the culture, balancing direction and autonomy. You will do this with an emphasis on empowered teams and delivery to agreed commitments, along with strong leadership skills.
The Challenge
As an Engineering Manager, you not only have the technical skills to roll up your sleeves and provide technical leadership, but also to manage a team of highly skilled engineers. In this role you contribute to product strategy and help develop your team.
You are curious, and not afraid of pushing your skills and building trust by sharing knowledge and mistakes. You see an ever-changing environment as a constant flow of opportunities and learning.
You will be the line manager for a team of Engineers with responsibility for the people processes such as recruitment, performance, competence, career development, health and wellbeing of your co-workers.
You also make sure engineers are able to optimize their resources by removing impediments that interrupt their work.
Your great organizational skills together with your excellent communication approach means you can demonstrate success in motivating a team through complex projects requiring innovative problem solving.
As a person you will be able to show a positive attitude and alignment to our core values.
It is a must that you are driven by the desire to continuously improve both from a personal as well as a technical and processes knowledge perspective.
