We're looking for an Engineering/ Technical Manager to help us continue to grow our business and expand into new markets and new products. This position is for heading up one, or potentially several, Lendo Tech market teams. A market team is a team consisting of both back and frontend engineers building and enhancing the Lendo product into new or existing markets in Europe. Our great tech teams create smart solutions for customers in the areas of loan comparison and payments that we are currently scaling internationally.
Our global technology team today consists of 70+ colleagues and is mainly located across Stockholm and Oslo. We use a modern technology stack such as Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and write microservices in Golang. You will work in a team closely with other managers in Oslo and Stockholm, together delivering on the overall goal of the global Lendo Tech function and supporting all our markets. You will also work close to the product and management team(s) in the markets you and your team(s) work together.
As an Engineering Manager in Lendo Tech Sweden, you will;

communicate a lot with your engineers that are working on a hybrid model both from our office in central Stockholm as well as online remotely

be responsible for two cross-functional and self-propelled teams
-
work closely with your product manager colleague(s), so that you together have a clear understanding and vision for your team(s)

motivate, inspire and engage the people to work towards the same objectives and towards empowerment
-
coach and mentor individuals to growth, through frequent 1:1 meetings, development talks, and daily work of course
-
drive some tech initiatives as well as some technical projects
-
help teams and individuals with bigger obstacles and support them to implement changes in their way of working to get more efficient

support the teams to reach the teams but also the companies objectives and key results (OKR)

work actively on recruitment, recruitment strategies, and employee branding questions, together with the rest of the tech management group and talent acquisition team
