Engineering Manager up for a tough but exciting challenge

I'll get straight to the point. We have a product that is core for the Scania business that is not in the best shape. It struggles with quite some technical debt and quality challenges.

We have 3 teams working with it, doing their best, but might not have been given the best of circumstances to tackle these challenges over time.

However! The will is really there. Both business and IT is working closely as one, willing to invest the focus and attention needed to turn this into a better shape. Everyone humbly knows this is not a quick or easy fix though.

We are now looking for an experienced engineering manager that can take lead in this tough but exciting journey. Preferably someone with a background in software engineering that understands and respects the importance of the craftsmanship in itself, but also someone that is able to provide direction and guidance balancing business understanding and the more technical challenges needed to be addressed.

A short introduction to the team and way of working. The group consists of roughly 20 people divided into 3 separate development teams that are led by separate POs. The teams are end to end responsible for the development, testing, and maintaining the product.

The Product Owners are located within the Teams and they work closely together to provide prioritization and product vision.

We are truly believing in the agile way of working, heavily leaning on its core principles rather than adopting some specific method.

The technology stack is .NET and Angular running in a cloud setup on AWS.
