The factory
At Nestlé Sweden’s factory in Helsingborg, Zoégas is producing roasted and ground coffee. We are a dedicated factory team of 63 employees that produce more than 16 000 tons of high-quality coffee a year. At times work will be hectic and require a lot of you but you will never get bored. Your future challenges
As our Engineering Manager you will be an essential player in reaching our mission to become the best performing coffee factory in Nestle, driven by proud coffee expert, taking responsibility for the planet! As Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop the technical team to ensure both optimal maintenance and our investment program – both by upgrading existing productions equipment and by implementing new opportunities e.g. in the area of sustainability and digitalization. It is crucial that you will have focus on people’s health and safety, product safety and our environmental impact.
You will be a member of the Factory Leadership Team and report to the Factory Manager. You will be the daily manager for a team consisting of seven technicians, an Automation/IT Engineer a Project Engineer and a Project Assistant.
We are proud to have a flat structure where everyone acts respectfully towards each other. Everyone takes ownership of own tasks and works towards achieving common goals. You will be part of the Nestlé technical network and with support from the Chief Engineer Nestlé Nordic.
Your main task will include:
· leading a team of maintenance- and utility experts as well as a project engineer
· supporting the overall Factory Operational Masterplan and be responsible for the action plan for the technical team (maintenance and development)
· shaping the factory by being responsible for creation and execution of a future ready capital investment plan
· support the factory Lean/TPM journey including responsibility for our preventative maintenance
· support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and technical issues
· ensure maintenance cost and investment control by budgeting and reviews
· manage projects – secure FAT/SAT are performed and documented
· participate in the HACCP team, working environment committee and factory audits
· ensure the factory meet the legal requirements and the Nestlé Standards
· ensure and improve safety culture in own department and factory, which entails being a role model by showing safety behavior and always challenge unsafe actions, conditions or hazards.
What will make you successful
We are looking for a proactive, analytical and result-oriented team player.
Professional skills: You hold an educational background within engineering, preferably as Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineer. You have minimum 5 years of experience from a similar role, preferably within food manufacturing or consumer good industry.
In addition, you:
· have experience with preparation of investment budgets as you will be responsible for the strategic planning of the factory CAPEX and maintenance budget
· have project management experience
· are used to engage in multidisciplinary teams that focus on process and continuous improvement.
· have experience with structured approach for improvements and problem-solving, preferable TPM
· have management experience (Line Manager or project management)
· are fluent in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing
Personal skills: As a person, you are someone who enables change and development, and show a commitment to ensure continuous improvement.
In addition, you:
· take ownership and build trust
· possess strong communication and negotiation skills and know how to navigate in a complex stakeholder landscape
· have a structured and organized work approach
· have a high-level of resilience and are able to keep calm in stressful situations
· are good at prioritizing
