Engineering Technician, Production Equipment Development

We are now looking for an Engineering Technician to join the Production Systems Hardware group which is a part of the Production Engineering & Technologies Systems department in Lund.

Who Is your future team?
The Hardware group contains of 17 dedicated engineers specialized in developing mechanical/ electrical parts and production systems used in the Axis line of production.

What you'll do here as an Engineering Technician?
In the Hardware group we design, develop and deliver high-quality, robust and cost-efficient mechanical and electrical solutions for Axis unique test and production systems. You will be a part in the work from concept to verified product in cross functional projects.

The role includes:

* Coordinate, assemble and ensure the quality of duplicated product unique fixtures
* Assist in assembling of prototype machines incl soldering of cables etc
* Responsible for maintenance and service of our 3D-printers
* Responsible for prototype labs and 3D-print work-shops
* Assist in different administrative tasks such as ordering prototype components
* The role may include travelling, mainly to our contract manufacturers, for approximately 20 days a year

Qualification and Experience:

* Experience of assembling of mechanical parts in an industrial environment
* Experience in "3D-printing & production technology for industrial use" or similar
* Experience in 3D CAD, reading electrical schemes and soldering is preferable
* Very good communication skills in English and Swedish is required
