To our team in Gothenburg, we are now searching for two new colleagues - a Process Engineer and a Lead Process Engineer.
In Gothenburg we have the global product responsibility for Evaporators, Lignoboost and Ash recovery technologies within Valmet.
The Process Engineer and the Lead Process Engineer will work with sales projects, customer order projects as well as R&D projects. In customer order projects you will participate in commissioning, start-up, test run and inspections of the plants.
Due to the global product responsibility our projects are executed together with the different market areas, hence international contacts and travels will occur for both positions.
As Lead Process Engineer your main task will be to lead projects for process engineering and participate in the design of plants for the respective technologies for the technology unit, both new plants and rebuilds. Some of the tasks are, designing P&IDs, making mass and energy balances as well as dimensioning of Process equipment.
As Process Engineer your main task will be design of plants for the technologies belonging to the technology unit, both new plants and rebuilds. You will be designing P&IDs, make mass and energy balances as well as dimensioning of Process equipment.
Who are you?
To be successful in both positions you are a graduated Engineer with a major in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar.
In addition to this you will need 2-5 years of experience from working as a process engineer. Excellent skills in English and fluent Swedish, verbally and in writing is essential, other languages could be a merit.
As a person you are innovative and skilled in technical calculations. You like to learn new things and like to present technical solutions to an audience. You are a team player but also able to find your own paths, both at work and when out travelling.
