Do you believe that some words can speak louder than others, and that greatness lies within the details? In that case you are our Translator for Product Communication at IKEA of Sweden, shaping how we communicate our products in all communication and sales channels.

As a translator you do all translation from Swedish to British English for all Product Communication facts and texts. This includes everything from customer benefits to Designer's thoughts and product stories. You are also involved in developing working processes, providing guideline and framework for all Home furnishing Businesses at IKEA of Sweden and involved in development of competence and tools. As Translator for Product Communication you will both lead and support translation for all Product Communicators in the Home furnishing Businesses, as well as having a dialogue with global media and sales channels, for specific development and needs.

Is this your next challenge?

To be successful in this role you need to meet the following criteria:

- Native British English speaker to translate from Swedish to British English.
- At least 3 years? professional experience, either in-house or at a translation agency.
- Excellent understanding of Swedish language and culture.
- You must be able to handle deadlines and manage your own projects, texts and deliveries.
- Pedagogic skills to lead and motivate.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
- Preferably experience within communication for IKEA, on product, range and media level, or equivalent.

Furthermore your determination and commitment enables you to achieve set goals. You have strategic and analytic capacity and the ability to understand and drive change whilst inspire and create clarity.

You will be part of the Product Communication Matrix at IKEA of Sweden. The position is on-site in Älmhult, and you will report to Product Communication Manager.
