Your mission
In this position, you design and develop IT architecture solutions to business problems in line with the company’s architecture direction and standards. You perform technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. You asses the compatibility and integrations of products and services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies and develop specifications for new products, services, applications and service offerings. The work involves developing high-level frameworks that align the organization’s technology landscape with business processes and data to improve business efficiency and productivity.
Your responsibility also includes:
Mapping the relationships between information systems components.
Performing architecture governance tasks.
Developing and maintaining various architecture artifacts, including baseline and target architectures and architecture roadmaps.
Identifying key interactions and dependencies across separate systems and platforms.
Evaluating the total cost of ownership and return on investment of various architecture alternatives
Providing guidance on the direction of technologies.
Ownership of short to mid-term execution of functional strategy and the operational direction in line with our Digital shift and 6 moves.
The ability to influence multiple, diverse stakeholders to accept policy, practices, and approaches.
Frequent communication with executive leadership on issues of significance.
Managing resources and policy formation in area of responsibility.
Influencing, coaching, and developing of indirect reports

The location for this position is at Gasverket in Stockholm or in Sandviken, Sweden.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with extensive work experience, including several years as a technical architect. This job requires experience from working with cloud-based technologies and hands-on experience as a single contributor to document and demonstrate architectural designs. You have the ability to provide architectural thought leadership and expertise as well as advocate and defend positions to both technical and non-technical teams. You’re also skilled in driving information governance, data quality, cloud and integration-led transformations. In addition, you lead Domain & Solution Architects and influence across organizational boundaries. Working in a truly global environment calls for excellent English skills, verbal and written.
You’re strategic, have clear analytical skills and an execution mindset of seeing things through, from idea to action. You have good presentation and communication skills, helping you to build strong relationships with people you encounter. Being a driven and motivated problem solver, ready to pursue meaningful work really comes in handy in this role and you always strive to make an impact.
