In the role of Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for the architecture of our Information and Data landscape on an Enterprise level. You will use your skills to create and maintain As-Is and Target Architecture for the Group’s Information- and Data Models. You will continuously develop your competence and be at the forefront of your expertise and leading others.

You have a passion to seek information and knowledge in the Information- & Data-domain and you have the capability to document, communicate and share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders at various levels in the organization.
You will play an important role to define and design the strategic direction for our future Information- and Data-landscape as well as build the transformation plan from current state to the targeted landscape.
You will be able to lead and create momentum by generating buy-in and acceptance of you work through excellent communication skills and a collaborative, professional and engaging manner.
The position offers a wide interface to many stakeholders such as business management, IT colleagues and representatives from various software- and service providers.
Unit Description
You will be part of the Enterprise Architecture department which is a function within the GIS- organization, (Global Information Services).
GIS (Global Information Services), the IT department in Husqvarna Group, is responsible for the delivery of Digital and IT-services throughout the group. The IT-organization is based at the major hub sites Huskvarna & Jonsered (Sweden), Ulm (Germany), Shanghai (China) and Charlotte (US). GIS delivers IT- and Digital services globally consumed by both Internal and External Users.
Your role
⦁ Provide expertise in the area of Enterprise Architecture with focus on the Information-domain.
⦁ Create and consolidate strategies and roadmaps, aligning to Business needs.
⦁ Coordination with other Enterprise-, Domain- and Solution Architects
⦁ Perform architecture blueprint support in prioritized projects.
⦁ Support enterprise data strategy and develop associated reference architectures for selected data domains
⦁ Analyze business requirements, as well as the industry trends, and translate them into high level information architecture designs based on best practices
⦁ Facilitate alignment in defining business glossary, drive creation of enterprise level common information model, as well as define enterprise guiding data models;
⦁ Capture, design and publish guiding views of enterprise data at multiple levels of abstraction
⦁ Define, design and document data flows with the big picture in mind.
⦁ Provide awareness and knowledge of data sources, interfaces and data flows across the enterprise
⦁ Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders and various IT delivery teams to define transitional and target state data architectures
⦁ Provide Governance for Architecture decisions and compliance.
Who you are
⦁ Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Computer Science or relevant area
⦁ Senior Architecture experience used to work with various EA-frameworks, preferably certified in a EA-framework.
⦁ Able to explain complex Data problem and solutions to varying stakeholders across Business and IT.
⦁ Highly knowledgeable about relevant Data Management & Governance topics including: Data Glossaries, Taxonomy management, Data Cataloguing, Data Lineage, Data Quality and Automated Data Discovery with demonstrable practical experience in as many of above as possible.
⦁ Confident and comfortable leading a group of experienced technicians and architects to achieve consensus. Able to show strength of personality and persistence to deliver on time.
⦁ You have a good sense for the bigger picture but can pay attention to detail. Able to deliver documentation with high quality.
⦁ Confident in leading yourself and others
⦁ Excellent verbal and written communication skills is vital, preferably in both Swedish and English
⦁ Flexible and with ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
