Enterprise Architect – Supply Chain Management - Volvo GTO

We constantly follow the global logistic industry trends and automotive supply chain challenges to secure the right transformation roadmap for the connected supply chain of Volvo.


We are now looking for a senior Enterprise Architect, with proven track record from the transportation and logistics domain, that will guide business and IT in how to architect the future digital supply chain.
As an Enterprise Architect (EA) you will have the responsibility to transform and promote business visions, strategies and demands into enterprise architecture enabling AB Volvos ambition within the logistics and transportation domain.
This is done by outlining and blueprinting both business- and technology architecture together with skilled colleagues’ cross function.
Wanted profile
We are looking for a senior enterprise architect with experience from companies within the logistics and transportation sector and from companies with logistics complexity.


In order to act as an enterprise architect at GTO you need to be able to cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.


You also have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your unit, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy.


To support the EA mission EA frameworks are provided by the CDO Office at Group IT.


Responsibilities
As an Enterprise Architect at GTO, you will carry the following responsibilities:
Blueprint the next generation enterprise architecture for the domain
Enable transformation of the domain into the North Star architecture
Continue to develop the North Star architecture to enable AB Volvo´s strategic priorities
Support to projects with right architecture from start. Drive to reduce the complexity, simplify complex structures and increase commonality and reuse.
Support in the definition of the Volvo Operation Concept
Develop and maintain the domains business capabilities

You will be in a small skilled team of devoted colleagues but have a large global network as GTO operations are worldwide. You will also be a member of enterprise architectural boards and committees representing GTO.


Required competencies
Senior profile with 10-15 years of experience
The candidate we are looking for should have a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and skills in Enterprise Architecture with a clear emphasis on:
Domain knowledge in supply chain, transportation management, logistics and customs/trade
Business knowledge and excellent understanding of how the Order to delivery process should be supported by Enterprise Architecture
Skills in IT architecture design, solution and infrastructure
Skills in TOGAF and SAFe
Proven track record of blueprinting modern architecture e.g. Cloud based PaaS architecture
Knowledge within Oracle OTM/CTM and SAP preferred
Domain knowledge within one or many of the following areas:
Automotive digital supply chain
Transport industry solutions and processes
Customs and trade management and solutions
Current and future core concepts of digital supply chain such as digital twin, logistic networks, real-time visibility, control towers etc.

We also see you have:
Relevant university degree
Experience from a global organization
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
