About this opportunity
We are looking for a candidate to join the Business and Transaction Banking Architecture team who has extensive experience with collaborating and engaging with business stakeholders, driving decision making, writing impactful artefacts for communicating architecture and information that guide decision makers, governing domain architectures, leading teams of architects in large transformation initiatives following a Scaled Agile (SAFe) delivery framework. The candidate must have a proven track record in managing a diverse group of business and technical stakeholders and effectively performing the role of a trusted advisor with hands-on, fit-for-purpose strategy and delivery-oriented transition and target architecture for the Business and Transaction Banking portfolio. 

What you’ll be doing:
* Being accountable for developing architecture strategies, transition and target architectures that provide explicit guidance and steering for initiatives within Transaction Banking
* Providing solution design and architectural leadership that includes creation of content related to business, information, application, process and technology architecture viewpoints
* Crafting architectural blueprints to support coordinated realisation of multiple Transaction Banking related initiatives in the bank. It includes documenting and diagramming conceptual, logical and physical architectures across solution viewpoints listed. The candidate must also be able to articulate benefits and drawbacks of various design options and recommend solutions that deliver the most business value while limiting technical debt
* Educating and assisting stakeholders with Group Architecture’s governance framework and associated processes
* Ensuring that the architecture roadmap is aligned with the business strategy of each of the bank’s business domain to help them achieve their respective objectives, improve operational efficiency or marketplace competitiveness – while staying within risk appetite and complying with regulations

The role will be based in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Sweden, or Poland.

* Drive strategic discussions for evolving the Transaction Banking   domain architectures to deliver reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, improved agility, reduced risk, and/or improved business capabilities.

* Are creative and have a strong desire for innovation
* Keep focus on own continuous development and learning as well as mentor others to build knowledge and improve overall effectiveness

Required Skills and Experience:
* 8+ years of related work experience in the areas of cash management and trade finance products, corporate banking, digital and customer engagement channels, workflow and case management, business intelligence, automation and APIs
* 5+ years’ experience with leading and governing architecture and solution designs in a portfolio of initiatives and/or large transformation projects, delivering architecture (business, technology and information) and solution design in a client-facing, consulting and/or delivery role in large transformation projects
* 5+ years demonstrated experience in areas of cash management and trade finance solutions, digital channels, customer engagement channels, corporate services, workflow and case management, business intelligence, automation and APIs in banking or financial services industries, including supporting the project planning and execution
* 5+ years’ experience developing web, mobile and backend solutions/applications using technologies such as JAVA, NOSQL and relational databases, orchestration, workflow and case management engines (e.g. PEGA) and other relevant technologies
* Demonstrated ability to drive development of target and transition architectures and to craft fit-for-purpose architecture content that provides explicit guidance for large and complex transformation initiatives. 
* Demonstrated experience with integration technologies, methods and architecture patterns to support batch, real-time and near-real-time data integration to support operational lending, analytical and reporting use cases
* Proficient with business analysis, software engineering, integration and orchestration, technical solution design, and risk and quality management
* Prior team management experience required, preferably in a matrix organisation
