To be successful as an Enterprise Architect you have proven advanced experience in information technology, computer science or equivalent. We believe you have working experience in leading business transformative change, preferably in a retail environment with an omni-channel context. A minimum of 5 years of experience from product and engineering organizations in a leading position, and minimum of 10 years experience in building internet facing distributed systems, is often needed to have the amount of knowledge you will need for this role. But we know that not everyone has the same journey. Likewise a proven Enterprise Architecture responsibility stretching across larger areas in a company with global stretch and worked with senior leadership.

As a person you are a good collaborator, have strong leadership skills – able to actively lead and drive architecture work and collaborate with diverse senior stakeholders. You possess knowledge across a range of different technology stacks, ideally applied within a retail sector, and can change direction based on new ideas, approaches and strategies.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Enterprise Architect, you are part of the Enterprise Architecture leadership team and will be part of developing the technology landscape across IKEA. You will also be part of setting the course with strategic direction, principles and standards that enable guidance for the organization. You will have responsibility for the Ventures & Services domain, covering Energy business, IKEA FOOD, IKEA Business and Financial Services with its architecture. You will lead a team of Technology Architects.
You are comfortable managing a diverse set of senior stakeholders up to board level to ensure reaching both short- and long-term goals.
In this role, you will be:
Work with one or multiple products in terms of being fully accountable for the technical deliverables, supporting the product's roadmap. This includes the efficiency, security and quality aspects of delivery and operations as well as support
Work closely with the assigned product owners and all groups within the Digital Technology organization.
Lead and organise the team following Lean and DevOps principles to implement, evolve, support and own the software and system components to Group Digital quality standards
Manage all technical resources and capacity plans within budget
Lead, inspire, motivate a multi-discipline software product team
Help build a digital mindset and an engineering culture that is accountability and results orientated
Responsible for recruiting engineers, achieving and sustaining employee engagement and retention through motivation and strong management
