What you’ll do
The Cytiva Enterprise Assistant Controller will be responsible for the Enterprise-related balance sheet accounts and the compliance with accounting policies and financial controls associated with those balances. Enterprise business at Cytiva delivers end-to-end manufacturing solutions to our customers, and currently has around 40 projects ongoing in 12 different countries. The Enterprise Assistant Controller will support the Enterprise Controller and partner closely with the Enterprise Execution Team, Finance team and with the other Controllers within Cytiva.
The Cytiva Enterprise Assistant Controller reports to the Cytiva Enterprise Controller.
Key responsibilities are:
Reconciliation of Enterprise-related balances and associated financial metrics such as orders and cash
Ensuring compliant monthly financial close and prepare monthly account reconciliations
Preparation of manual accounting entries, such as manual journal entries, invoices and intercompany transactions
Preparation of the Enterprise contract price allocations
Balance sheet forecasting and monthly commentary of balance variances and composition
Supporting SOX control testing and internal/ external audit requests
Help drive global simplification and automation
Who you are
Experienced in US GAAP and authoritative accounting literature (i.e. FASB pronouncements)
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear and concise manner and within a global environment
Clear thinker and strong problem solver with high level of attention to detail
Adaptable and flexible, open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
Has the highest level of integrity, accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
Confident and assertive, strong influencing skills across business functions
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field with relevant accounting and finance experience or CPA / CA or equivalent
Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation
Experience working in a matrixed environment
Experience working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
