Enterprise Data & Technology Architect

You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the target data architecture and the target technology architecture to support it (for the data & analytics domain). You will set the conceptual roadmap for how to move from the current state to the target and support and guide the initiatives required for the transition. You will do this in close collaboration with architects for other domains, the data governance function, delivery teams and business representatives.

You will have an active role in various decision forums, represent us to external partners and create a great foundation for further development. This position is more than what meets the eye. We are looking for senior architect with good wide experience, which has a strong understanding of solutions innovation. The ideal candidate has several years of experience working as a solution architect. You have an ability to dive into various solutions while developing new solutions/services and make strong contributions in architectural discussions.

You possess strong technical and communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics to business stakeholders as well as translate business topics into technical designs and solutions. The position will report to the Chapter Lead for the Architectural team and will be based in Malmö.

Key responsibilities

• Set and communicate the data architecture and data technology architecture standards and guidelines.
• Utilize a reference data architecture to describe and communicate current state of data architecture
• Keep an up to date view on the technology architecture for the data & analytics domain (integration, warehouses, lakes, analytical tools, etc)
• Define and maintain the target data architecture and the corresponding target technology architecture, document gaps and create conceptual, value driven, roadmap to close the gaps.
• Facilitate the selection of tools and packages for all components in the data & analytics landscape.
• Provide support to solution architects in the implementation of initiatives along the roadmap
• Represent the data & analytics domain in architecture boards and assess impact of initiatives in other domains on data & analytics.
• Ensure that the architecture for new initiatives are aligned with the Enterprise Architectural roadmap and overall Ikano guidelines and target architecture

Experience

• Take ownership and take pride in understanding your stakeholders and the business you support
• Possess strong communication skills and can have discussions on different levels, ranging from developer to C-level.
• Are structured and analytical and can conceptualize complex architectural issues
• Have minimum 5 years experience working with data / data technology architecture in an enterprise context
• Have experience in working with both data (big data, DWH, data management, etc) and Analytics (BI, predictive, advanced)
• Several years of successful professional experience in Architecture design and implantation
• Knowledge in BIAN model
• Core Banking platform (e.g. Cards and Loans) and Origination systems is an added advantage
• Fluent in English – spoken and written!
• Ability to work in a team and within Ikano’s values
• Knowledge on Monitoring, Vulnerability Scanning and Patch Management & Deployment (added advantage)
