Environment Certification Coordinator, Forestry

Tetra Pak's global environment department works to strengthen the company's competitiveness by driving and supporting policies, programmes and actions that will ensure environmentally preferred packaging materials as well as packaging and processing systems.

The Recycling & Supply Chain Support team in the environmental department deal with both ends of the value chain: environmental aspects of the beverage cartons' raw material supply (paperboard, aluminium foil and polymers), and post-consumer resource management.Tetra Pak's main forestry objective is to ensure responsible and sustainable management of the wood sources used by our paperboard suppliers.We consider independent certification according to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards to be the best proof of responsible forest management and traceability in the supply chain.We favour FSC certified paperboard suppliers, have our own FSC certificate, and work with external partners like WWF to increase the area of FSC certified forests worldwide.

As Environmental Certification Coordinator, Forestry, you will:
-Drive FSC training, certification and implementation in our production and sales organisations
-Coordinate annual auditing of FSC certified units with our certification body, consultants and internal auditors
-Ensure correct implementation of on-pack and off-product FSC labelling
-Maintain internal FSC accounting
-Ensure an on-going dialogue with certified units and internal auditors about FSC related issues

Kvalifikationer

The successful candidate will have obtained an MSc degree in an appropriate discipline, for example Forestry, Biology or Environmental Technology.You have at least 3 years of experience working with/in a business.You also have knowledge about environmental certification standards (for example ISO14000) and policies.You should of course be fluent in written and spoken English.

To succeed you need to be an excellent communicator, organised and structured by nature and equipped with extensive networking skills.You are self-sufficient and project management oriented.
