Job Description
Do you want to take part in shaping a fossil-free future? If so, Vattenfall is looking for you!
Vattenfall has made a strong commitment to make fossil-free living within one generation possible and in order to deliver on this we are now looking to strengthen our corporate environmental team within Vattenfall’s strategic function. We are an open and engaged group working in an exciting international environment.
We are looking for a passionate Environmental Advisor who will be a part of driving multi-stakeholder projects within the environmental area. A big part of your focus will be to advance our work linked to full value chain decarbonisation.
The opportunity
You will be part of the Environmental Performance team where you will both lead, and take part in projects that span across the full Vattenfall Group. You will leverage our environmental performance data into tangible actions aiming to have a big impact on business performance. Initially a big focus will be on strengthening Vattenfall’s decarbonisation efforts but in the role you will also have the opportunity to work with multiple strategic topics such as biodiversity and circularity.
The Environmental function is part of group strategy at Vattenfall and has an outreach on all levels of the company. The environmental performance team is responsible for both securing that Vattenfall has the right environmental performance data in place and also to make use of the data to drive performance improvements and conduct strategic analyses. In the role you will work closely together with a broad network of colleagues across Vattenfall – from the environmental organisation in our six Business Areas to experts in Finance, Procurement, R&D and other Staff Functions. You will run complex multi- stakeholder projects and securing Vattenfalls preparedness for emerging topics. Building relationships and trust on all levels in the organisation is key, motivating internal stakeholders to move in the same direction.
