About the job
We are currently looking for an Environmental Analyst who will support Polarium by strengthening its commitment towards fact-based external communication and product-level environmental analysis both cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-use. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
You will
Manage and develop the Environmental Management System according to the ISO 14001 standard.
Conduct product-level environmental analysis (e.g., LCAs or carbon footprints) aligned to global environmental standards such as ISO 14040, PEFCR, or Product Lifecyle Accounting.
Deliver internal and external LCA communication and assist in preparing a fact-based response to customer environmental inquiries.
Define a standardized way of collecting, processing, and assuring environmental data (including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions) and aspects.
Collaborate with EHS engineers in manufacturing sites to control the global Environmental Management System.
Your responsibilities
- Integrate and standardize environmental analysis across Polarium’s product portfolio.
- Conduct product-level environmental analysis (e.g., LCAs or carbon footprints) aligned to global environmental standards such as ISO 14040, PEFCR, and/or Product Lifecyle Accounting.
- Define a standardized way of collecting, storying, and processing environmental data.
- Review, manage and maintain environmental datasets, prepare screening tables, and summarize findings from product’s lifecycle data inventory.
- Assist corporate-level environmental analysis (i.e. Scope 3 for corporate GHG accounting).
- Assist in preparing a fact-based response to customer environmental inquiries.
You have
- 1-3 years of related environmental analysis experience
- Demonstrated knowledge in carbon accounting and LCA methodology (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14040, PEFCR Guidance).
- Demonstrated knowledge in LCA software (preferably openLCA).
- Familiar with the ISO 14001 standards and its requirements.
- Familiar with international sustainability-based standards and initiatives (e.g. GHG Protocol, TCFD Reporting)
- Excellent computer application and spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical report writing
- Master's degree in environmental engineering or related.

Preferred experience:
Previous knowledge in energy systems.
Previous knowledge in PowerBI and/or Python programming.
Previous knowledge in Sustainability Reporting standards
Trained in the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and the ISO 45001 standards.
