Maybe the role of Environmental and Utilities Manager at Österlenmejeriet, part of Danone Group, is the right role for you! You would together with the engineering team play an important role in the factory’s and Danone’s future success!
ABOUT THE JOB
You will play a vital role in future development of our factory in Lunnarp, Skåne. It is a versatile role where you will manage a team of three technicians and work closely with internal and external stakeholders on all levels. You will be responsible for managing the factory’s environmental plan – which is a foundation for Danone’s vision One Planet One Health and a key characteristic for how we wish to run our production of Proviva and other plant-based products. By managing contact and communication with authorities you protect our license to operate and ensure our operations runs in line with our core values of sustainable production.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Developing and managing the factory environmental plan and legal environmental requirements.
Lead and develop the team on both functional and leadership ability to create high-performing teams.
Continuously identify and drive initiatives to improve energy savings and optimizations.
Organize the environmental work in regards to demands and obligations required of the employer according to the Swedish law, Miljöbalken.
Drive and execute the factory energy stream towards the budget & ideal factory target.
Leading the utilities department such as Operation and Maintenance.
Organizing on-site maintenance and securing technical equipment, to minimizing technical downtime/disruptions and proposing corrective action plans to minimize energy consumption.
Handling yearly and ad-hoc audits on environmental practices, involving key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure correct reporting.
ABOUT YOU
In order to be successful you have:
Academic technical degree or comparable work experience.
5+ years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably in global FMCG industry, handling contact and reporting with authorities.
Experience working with ISO 14001 as environmental management system.
Informal or formal leadership experience is a strong merit.
Knowledge and experience working with Swedish environmental laws, Miljöbalken.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Swedish and English.
Team player attitude with the ability to drive change by engaging and inspiring key stakeholders.
Innovative problem solving skills and eagerness to find new solutions for environmental practices to implement at the factory.
