Environmental & Circularity Specialist

What you’ll do
Joining Zound as our new Environmental & Circularity Specialist to our Sustainability team, you will be leading and coordinating the environmental work and drive the implementation on a company level, working with stakeholders across our value chain and making sure we’re aligned on strategy for environmental sustainability to be circular and emission free! You will be a key player in our exciting journey, getting us to our ambitions to lead the industry towards circular, emission free and responsible practices.

- Lead the further development of the environmental area of Zounds sustainability strategy and be responsible for the implementation, reporting and compliance of environmental initiatives.
- Set, manage and drive the emissions reduction plan
- Drive relevant improvement programs in close collaboration with stakeholders throughout our value chain, such as circular streams and renewable energy


- Support our product development teams and brands with technical expertise on environmental issues, through creativity, tools & data (eg LCA)
- Give input to new circular business models and help run pilot projects within circularity
- Drive improvement work related to our offices and employees environmental footprint


Who you are
You have a collaborative, creative and daring mindset with a hands-on approach and love challenging the status quo. You love to be part of an entrepreneurial atmosphere and dare to think bigger, meaning you’re eager, curious and solution oriented and have great data-handling and information management skills. You will be working towards our goals of circularity and therefore we believe that you have worked with long-term sustainability goals. Whilst building structure and developing processes are key tasks in this role, your passion for sustainability and drive is what will usher your success!

You probably have the following experiences & skills
- 2-5 years of Sustainability work experience
- Experience in environmental tools and frameworks, eg Science based targets, LifeCycleAnalysis (LCA), Green House Gas (GHG) Protocols, ISO 14001.
- Environmental reporting experience: eg GRI, CSRD knowledge
- Experience from setting climate and/or circular targets into execution
