We can offer an exiting role as Environmental specialist - Products where your expertise within environmental legislation, GHG, CO2 products will be highly valued.
As Environmental specialist you will be supporting the operation in matters related to GHG (Greenhouse Gas) and the environmental impact of CO2 products, including GHG emissions and responsible for supporting the operation in CO2-related issues within external networks, such as Drivkraft Sverige, IKEM, etc.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that input parameters in Emission Models (Well to Wheel) align with current laws and requirements.

• Independently communicate with company management as well as authorities and other external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities
• Provides environmental technical expertise for GHG (Greenhouse Gas) calculations.
• Compiles monthly performance data on internal environmental key indicators.
• Coordinates and provides expertise and advice regarding environmental aspects during changes in operations and products. This task includes emissions and environmental impacts for new facilities and raw materials for refineries and depots, as well as for new products.
• Develops, implements, maintains, and monitors procedures and instructions related to Preem´s environmental management system.
• Participates in the establishment of plans and goals for the department.
• Obligation to promptly inform the immediate department manager and Environmental Manager if the operation does not meet the specified environmental requirements.
The Bigger Picture
This position is a full-time permanent employment with start as soon as possible. This role can be based either at the Preem office in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Lysekil. You will report to the Environmental Manager.
As Preem is a security-classified company, a security clearance with a background check may be conducted when necessary. The security clearance will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. A valid ID document approved for Sweden must be presented.
Our Expectations
Minimum requirements for the role:
• Master´s degree in engineering or equivalent, with a focus on process technology/chemistry/environment.
• Solid process knowledge of refinery process plants and good knowledge of products and their environmental impact.
• Good familiarity with environmental management systems and environmental legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish
