About the role
The None driven axle, Disc brakes and Hubs group are responsible for developing axles, knuckles, kingpins, steering arms, hubs, disc brakes and wheels. As our new Epic Owner, you will get the opportunity to contribute, manage, lead and drive to our team’s work and make your mark on our global, strategic and long-term projects. Within the role Epic Owner and Cross functional team leader, you act as a spider in the web securing that the scope is clear for all contributing teams, working with risk mitigation and high level time plan to align the engineering efforts – while continuing to grow professionally alongside highly skilled colleagues. Required qualifications:
A master’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or similar
Well-spoken in English, both verbal and written
Minimum 5 years within axles and wheel-end engineering
Product development management experience. Preferably in relevant engineering area
Experience from leading cross-functionally work within automotive product development process
Experience of agile methods, such as SAFE, SCRUM and KANBAN
Experience from working in a global environment
Meritorious if you also have knowledge in Volvo Tools like PDM and KOLA and C-driving license
